IDPA/IPSC Training

This one-day (9hr) course is designed to assist the new competition shooter (IDPA/IPSC) in developing his or her handgun skills. The course will start by evaluating the skill level of the student, and then proceed accordingly. The student will begin with the basic fundamentals of shooting, and then move on to more advanced shooting skills with the purpose of increasing the speed and accuracy of the student. Through this course, the student will gain more confidence with his or her handgun, as well as further develop their competitive edge.
The course will cover the following topics:
The fundamentals (Stance, grip, trigger manipulation, etc.)
Gear placement & equipment analysis
Draws
Recoil management
Reloading
Multiple targets & target acquisition
Shooting positions
Weapon maintenance
Q&A session
